Falling Asleep Story

I fell asleep, albeit briefly, when Debi was in labor with Max. Staying awake has never been my forte. And now, reading is getting more difficult for some unforseen reason...maybe that beer wasn't the best idea I've ever had, but it did seem like a good idea at the time. I think it may be time to take a page out of my cat's playbook and take a nap...

maybe take a rest or something for a couple of hours, I'm sure you'll recharge to read again. Anyways congrats on making this far!

ha ha, I think my husband took naps during each of our three kids' labors!

I hope you're enjoying the rest of the readathon, whether you're awake or not.

Didn't Debi warn you ahead of time that beer during the readathon is NOT a good idea!!

Yup. The beer is probably not the best idea, but as long as you enjoyed it!

Still asleep or back to reading? As for falling asleep during your wife's labor, Blaine did nap while I was in the middle of my 14-hour labor with Don, who finally came at 3:00 a.m. Steve had the decency to come fast and at 10:00 a.m., so no nap there.

Here's hoping you come in for a strong finish in a bit!
