Wow! You're the first person I've known who's on a informal-name basis with Ernest who, coincidentally is currently appearing in the story Steve is writing for his fiction writing class. When last seen, Ernest, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the heroine were hiding in the shed at Auschwitz where all the human hair was stored. I'm looking forward to Annie's challenge, too, and will have to work not to start early.
I am a graduate student in biology finishing soon and debating whether or not to teach college if I can find a job. I can teach grades 6 -12 biology based sciences now but I freaked out and went to graduate school instead after student teaching and teaching summer school The main reason I got cold feet is because of "classroom management" issues. The kids can tell when you are a softie and scared. The past year and half working a doctor's office and going to grad school have made me realize that I do like teaching...its just the kids I have problems with. What do you reccomend ?
